How to detect fake page rank?
Friday, September 23rd, 2005 at 2:55 pm in InternetThere are alot of fake Page Rank out there and there are people who will cheat your money by selling you a very high Page Rank domain name but it turned out to be fake. So how to detect fake Page Rank? I came across a thread in SEO chat forum just now that a guy got conned by another person selling him a PR9 domain.
It might be an attractive buy but if next time you come across someone who want to sell you high PR domain, please use this Page Rank tool to check the domain first. If the PR is real then it will show the domain url. Example put www.kahsoon.com into the text field and you’ll see my domain url under it. If a PR is fake, then it will show something else. Example put www.pr10.darkseoteam.com into the text field. This is a fake PR10 domain because it shows Google’s url.

I think if your type link:http://www.yourdomain.com you should find some valid links that causes the pageranks to get that high.
If you check the pr10.darkseoteam.com ….you will see like 3 million site linked to the page…but when you visit those website, the link are not there. ….somehow…if you buy the website, you PR will drop after Google updates its system…
just my ways…i guess there are better ways out there.
