Wooooot!! I got my first $100 from adsense! After that long hard 3 months, at last i can taste the reward. Indeed this is the sweetest moment for me. In the beginning i was abit dissapointed because in the good day i would get is 1 or 2 click and fetch around $0.08 and in the bad day i would get no click at all. Those were the days when im still blogging in my blogspot.

When i change to this site, everything change. I started to get more clicks and the earning increases steadily. How is this possible? Because of the increasing visitor and traffic. Want to know how all this started? Well i have to bring you back to where it begins…

I was searching for webmaster forum in malaysia, because i want to join a webmaster forum and learn more from there. Actually i have to thanks to my final year project because if it wasn’t for that project then i won’t have the interest in developing websites. So i came across a webmaster malaysia forum and i found an interesting section in the forum called Revenue. I spend alot of time reading each and every post there is in the section and i can tell you honestly that i learned alot from there. The most valuable thing i get from there is adsense and blog!

Previously i have heard of blog before but frankly speaking i have the least interest to read it or even worse write it. It is when i stumbled upon liewcf’s blog, then i realize theres a big blog world out there. And i started to check out all the blogs and found out something in common. Most of the blog have very high PR and this makes me drool. I think i’ve hit the jackpot because all these while i was searching high and low, trying every single thing in the world to achieve high PR. Now i know the answer to it so i will try blogging. That’s how i started to blog.

The reason i move my blog to a domain because 1 word. Lazy. I still remember that when i first learned about Project Petaling Street, i know that it would increase my visitor because i did some research. But the problem is that i hate pinging manually because im lazy. I hate the fact that i have to put in my blog title, url etc everytime i write a post. So after i get very fedup about that and learned about auto ping, so i’ve decided to get my own domain instead.

Why i joined adsense? Like everyone else…to be rich lah of course lol! When i get my first blogspot, they just allowed blogs to put google adsense. So thats a good news for bloggers and as a newbie i also join the bandwagon. But like i mentioned in the beginning of this post, the earning wasn’t good at all. I tried alot of approach and topics to get more visitor and changed from blogging my own life, to entertainment blog and now…directory of interesting stuff which mainly blog about anything interesting and funny.

Why i choose to blog about this topic? The answer is to attract readers. Actually i’ve did some research too and i found out that there are some blog which is similar to mine and they are fetching around 10k to 30k unique visitor daily, that is why im blogging in that direction and hoping can reach that amount of visitor after 1 year time since those site took that long to reach that target as well. The fatal one which blog about celebrity gossip with sexy picture and nude once in a while fetch about 100k unique visitor daily!!! OMFG thats alot and that site have adsense also! Guess how much they are earning! I can tell you that they are driving porche and living in bunglo by now. But i won’t be blogging in that direction and i’ve even remove my sexy category. Why? Because my gf don’t like it lol.

There are also some article which talk about how well some people is earning from adsense. Some earn thousands of USD per day, even my friend Alang from Malaysia earning RM five digit from adsense per month. So they can do it, why can’t we? 1 word. Creativity. Alang is not blogging to earn that much but his earning also comes from adsense in his website.

Long ago there are people who ask me why don’t you blog about yourself? We would be more interested to read that kinda stuff. I can tell you that i’ve written about my daily life in my yahoogroups long before blog even exist and i can tell you that it can be as humourous as kennysia’s blog. But why i don’t blog about it now? The only reason is because i don’t have a digital camera or camera phone unless you want to donate one to me

Therefore i shall continue blogging interesting stuff and hopefully make you read them and until the day i own a camera phone then i will definately post up more entry about myself. Will blogging about myself make myself famous and get myself into the newspaper? maybe…but will blogging about myself make me rich? Neh…i don’t think so.

There you go…now you know how my site get started and where that extra $100 pocket money comes from. Every single hour of everyday Im constantly thinking of a way to create a creative website like this site which get alot of visitor everyday and earned alot from adsense as well.

Hopefully one day an apple will drop on my head…
