Making your archive with post counter in wordpress 1.5 is relatively simple. Just go to your theme folder and find the sidebar.php and look for:
HTML:
<ul>
< ?php wp_get_archives('type=monthly'); ?>
</ul>
and replace it with
HTML:
<ul>
< ?php get_archives('monthly', '', 'html', '', '', TRUE); ?>
</ul>
So easy
